Primary Program, 3-5 Years
The goal of early childhood education should not be to fill the child with facts from a pre-selected course of study, but rather to cultivate the child's own natural desire to learn (with inclusion of kindergarten).
The years between three and five are the years that the child learns the rules of human behavior most easily.
In our Montessori Classroom, the objective is approached in two ways: first by allowing children to experience the excitement of learning by their own choice rather than being forced; and the second, by helping the child perfect his or her natural tools for learning.
